ABOUT
Meet the Photographer
Hello! I am Tim Dunnahoo, a 5th generation Texan with an ancestor that fought and died alongside James Fannin at Goliad.
I retired early as an architect so that I could further explore my creativity through the art of photography. I turned my lifelong passion into my second career. Based on my portfolio submissions, I was accepted into the Professional Photographer Network by both SBLive Sports and MaxPreps, for whom I have photographed UIL State Championships in Golf, Baseball, Swimming & Diving, Track & Field, and XC.

Why Athletics? My life's own athletic journey includes breaking the 5-minute mile as a HS freshman, and sub-4:40 as a junior. I completed 15 marathons between the ages of 18-33. As a youth we didn't have video games, thus I played street football, tennis, and golfed.

I later became a triathlete and eventually completed 5 full Ironman races (2.4 mile swim + 112 mile bike + 26.2 mile run). I have climbed Colorado 14'ers and now I regularly ride a mountain bike, practice yoga, and walk with my wife. I am comfortable interacting with and photographing athletes, which keeps me close to my roots.
